The IRS announced that January 30, 2013 is the projected first day that most individuals can file their tax returns for 2012. The IRS is continuing to make changes to the computer system based on recent tax law changes.
However, a number of forms won’t be updated until “Late February or Early March”, but those don’t affect most individuals. If you file a form 4562 (depreciation) or get some unusual tax credits, you may not be able to file until these forms are updated. A complete list of these forms can be located here.
Please remember that the IRS had previously announced that processing would be slower this year to help reduce tax fraud. A previous blog post discussed this (you can re-read it here – http://wp.me/pBXk9-2d). So, some people may see refunds arriving even later, based on the additional fraud prevention stops, and the later filing deadline.

WordPress is a simple, free site and is the one a lot of people use – a good place to start. As far as tips/hints, I’d just go with what you’re comfortable writing and don’t be afraid to look at other blogs/writing to get ideas. Simple is usually the best as is brevity because people can get overwhelmed. Best of luck to your endeavors.
